Sucked In (Pun Intended)

I've got sooooo many errands to run today so flat shoes are a must because I shall be walking all over Soho and the West End. All fun errands so not too much of a chore and I think I'll throw a little Christmas shopping in too. I'm being good and not buying myself any clothes this month (frankly I have more than enough already) so I shall be avoiding any temptations!

It's my wonderful Papa's birthday today, I wish I could see him but he lives on the Isle of Wight at the moment so a little far away for an afternoon visit. I shall call him however and sing "Happy Birthday" to him down the phone, poor man I shouldn't be so mean; I sound like an angry bag of cats being thrown against a wall when I sing.

Todays dress is this...

Dress: Oasis
Wrap Jumper: Topshop
Tights: Dorothy Perkins
Boots: Shelleys

I love these tights but I'm still not sure if the colour suits me or if my legs look like the bad guys from Sin City!

I know my photos aren't the best quality and the details of the dress I wore yesterday weren't very clear so here it is laid out flat so you can kinda see how I've made it....

....it's two mens XL tees sewn together at the necklines then one set of sleeves sewn together to make pockets....

.... I chopped off the hem of the top tee so it drapes nicely and that is literally it!

After flatmate L telling me about The Vampire Diaries I decided to have a looksee and now I'm hooked! I spent all of yesterday afternoon and most of the evening watching the first ten episodes and I'm even thinking about taking my laptop up to Liverpool with me to watch some when we get back to the hotel after the fight! Can anyone say addict? Any TV shows that you have to watch back to back when you can?

Lots of Love

P.S. x

  1. 'That's what she said' ! That's what I thought when I read your post title! :) You can wear anything and you always look so damn good! I love that you've shown how you made the t-shirt dress, so clever, how did you think of this!?

Hope your tights made it through the day in one piece, unlike my pieces of adorable crap!

  3. Haha I love the Sin City comparision, although I assure you lovely that there is no way on god's earth you could look like that! How are you finding Dressember by the way? I'm loving the layering of jumpers over the top.

Hope your Papa has had a lovely day!

  5. @ The Dandizette LOL! It's just that shade of yellow ;)I'm loving Dressember, finding the keeping warm thing a bit of an issue if I have to go outside but I don't have to do that all that often!

@ Aissata No worries Lovely I hope Santa is listening!

  9. Beautiful dress!! I love the tights too! I didn't know you were wearing them until you mentioned it! I've never watched Vampire Diaries; the tv shows reruns that I usually watch are 'Friends' or "Will and Grace". They make me laugh :-) xoxoxoxoo
