Shoeper Shoe Challenge

Kerry from My Orange Stilettos commented on my last post which led me to go and check out her blog (very cute and very orange!) which led me to discover the Shoeperwoman Shoe Challenge! I love it, as you probably know I own quite a few pairs of shoes......seventy eight to be exact and some of them I haven't worn in ages so this challenge seems perfect for me.

The Rules:
  • You must wear every pair of shoes/boots you own before the end of the challenge- 14th February 2012. (And it doesn’t matter whether you own five pairs or five hundred – everyone is welcome!)
  • You must take photos of yourself wearing each pair of shoes as “evidence”. (Full length outfit shots only: photos showing just your feet don’t count!)
  • Any shoes that you haven’t worn by the end of the challenge must be disposed of: use ‘em or lose ‘em.
So here are all my shoes....
....wish me luck!

I finished my dress last night after hours of hand sewing the hem (damn circle skirts and their yards of fabric!), here it is.....

....I love it. I was a little worried about the bodice as it doesn't have that many darts to fit it to the body but I think it's worked out quite well and I'm so please with all the trim which I made myself! I have enough of this fabric left to make something else so I'm thinking of a high waisted circle skirt and maybe some high waisted shorts too. Now all I need is some sunny weather so I can wear it out....here's hoping!

Lots of Love

P.S. x

  4. Gorgeous skirt! I always love full circle skirts because they're so girly and fun! Oooh, and the shoe challenge, sounds awesome! Let's see, I have about five shoes to be exact plus two pairs of sandals I wear daily. So if I join this challenge, it would be very short for me, haha :-) xoxoxoo

  7. Haha glad to see you're joining the challenge! Your collection will definitely be a favourite among the challengettes.

The print on that dress is gorgeous, I was interested to see what style you'd go for, I think the circle skirt suits it really well.

Looking forward to following your Shoeper Challenge progress!

  16. I'm into white jeans this summer and I need to get a tan too except I hate staying in the sun for it so I'm going to use those tanning lotion. But it's so hard to find one that's right for me. Most of them turned me into orange! xoxoxoo
