Third Of The Way There!

What a week, and it's only Wednesday! Blue Eyed Guy took me out for a lovely dinner on Monday, I talked him into trying Greek food and he loved it! Yesterday my Little Bother and his Missus were in town and met me for lunch which we spent in my private garden basking in the sunshine (I didn't want to go back to work) and today I've started to learn Black Jack which I'm loving. All in all I have a big smile on my face despite my stupid cold which is still hanging around.

I wore this on Monday....

Dress: eBay
Belt: Jocasi
Tights: Dorothy Perkins
Socks: American Apparel
Boots: Faith
Earrings: My lovely Niece
Cost: A shop on Kings Road

......this on Tuesday......

Dress: Vintage (it used to be my Mum's)
Shoes: Office (24th pair saved)

......and today's ensemble was this.....

Top: Kasike
Trousers: Camden Market
Shoes: Office (25th pair saved, one third of the shoe collection is safe!)
Jewellery: Accessorize

.....please please please let the sun stick around, I love dressing for this weather and I don't want to get the coats out again!

Now you may or may not have noticed but my plan to exercise everyday for thirty days kind of fell by the wayside at day fourteen......opps! I want/need to get back into exercising, I was talking with a couple of the girls today and I realised that although it's bloody hard work I do actually enjoy it and I love the results so it's time to get off my backside and start bouncing around like a crazy thing.....again!

Also I've been really struggling to keep up with my blog reading/commenting of late, I do read all of my favourite blogs but mainly on my iPhone so I can't really comment as much as I would like to which sucks. I know it's just for a little while during my training period what with all the homework and such but I miss you guys! Normal service will resume soon!

On that note I hope you are all having a fabulous week and enjoying the sunshine, long may it continue!

Lots of Love

Mmmmmm Fudge!

I've been a little quiet on the posting front again but this time it's due to illness, a horrid cold to be pricise! I seem to be mostly over it now thank goodness, I'm terrible whenever I get the sniffles I'm always convinced it's the dreaded "Man Flu"! Other than having a very minor ailment I've had a lovely week which involved taking Blue Eyed Guy out for a few cheeky mid week beverages and having dinner with my fabulous friend Mike at The Gore in Kensington which is an amazing place, the suites have four poster beds, little hidden passages and stained glass windows...

....and the restaurant serves gorgeous food (I had scallops...again).

So here are a few of the outfits I wore this week, Wednesday....

Jumper: Topshop
Skirt: Topshop
Tights: Boots
Shoes: Gina (23rd pair saved)
.....I love these shoes but I hardly ever wear them as I'm so scared they are going to get ruined, they are champagne coloured satin after all! I decided "what's the worst that could happen" if I wore them to work and then nearly ended spilling tomato soup all over them, HA! I should never tempt fate like that. Hopefully these poor princess shoes won't end up in the wardrobe for another year before I feel brave enough to take them out again.

Thursday I wore another pair of shoes that could have been saved if I had time to take a picture but I had to rush out to the doctors, I got there on time and then had to wait for forty five minutes for my appointment! I was only getting my blood pressure taken by the nurse so I have no idea why I had to wait so long but hey ho it just means I'll have to wear those shoes again sometime soon, not much of a hardship.

Friday I wore this...
Dress: Topshop
Jumper: Miss Selfridge
Belt: Gap
Tights: Accessorize
Boots: Office
Earrings: Swished from V

......I love this jumper dress and these boots turned out to be very comfortable which surprised me a little, I'll definitely be wearing them to work again.

I've spent the whole weekend curled up in bed feeling sorry for myself with my box of man sized tissues (everyone was taking the Michael out of my man tissues....until they wanted one for themselves that is!) and Day/Night Nurse which is amazing stuff. This afternoon though, for reasons unknown, I decided it was a good idea to make some Caramelised Red Onion Chutney which entailed me chopping up sixteen onions, ouch!

It tastes amazing so it was worth the tears, I made this at Christmas for pressies and it was very well received so I thought I would double the quantities and make a little more this time.......somehow double the quantity only made one extra jar of chutney though, oddness! I also made some dark chocolate orange fudge which I had to have the flatmates sample for me as I can't eat it for one more week (gosh Lent feels very long this year, I WANT crisps NOW!) apparently it tastes nice which is good news but it turns out Blue Eyed Guy doesn't like dark chocolate! I'll just have to make another batch of milk chocolate fudge.......mmmmmm chocolate fudge!

I hope you've had a fabulous non ill week?

Lots of Love

Follow The Yellow Brick Road

Hello lovely peeps, how have you all been? I've been M.I.A for a while but with good reason.....Blue Eyed Guy and I checked into a hotel on Friday! We stayed at the Mariott Grosvenor Square which was amzing, a lovely friend of mine works there and sorted us out an amazing deal so we got thoroughly spoilt. So this is what I've been wearing and doing for the past couple of days.....

Friday I wore this to work...

Dress: Zara
Shoes: Dorothy Perkins (21st pair saved)
Earrings: Accessorize

.....Blue Eyed Guy and I had a little bit of a FUBAR getting to the hotel; I had Mariott Marble Arch in my head, he had Mariott Park Lane in his and as you know we were actually staying at the Grosvenor Square one! An hour later we had checked in and were heading out for a fellow Bunnies birthday bash at Amika which was sooooo much fun.

Saturday was spent chilling out and picnicing in Hyde Park and then we headed to Busuba for a yummy dinner of Thai food which I'm really starting to love now. I didn't take any pictures this weekend as clever old me forgot to pack my camera, DOH! Sunday was again spent relaxing and then I cooked a huge roast chicken dinner which left us all stuffed silly on the sofa, the perfect end to a perfect weekend.

Monday I decided to wear this little lot.....

Dress: All Saints
T-Shirt: Dorothy Perkins
Leggings: American Apparel
Boots: Nine West
Necklace: Accessorize

......I love this dress, well I love pretty much everything that All Saints make and these are my comfy boots so my feet were happy all day (they are still recovering from the disaster that was the Flat Shoes).

Today I decided on this....

Jumper: Oasis
Cardigan: Gap
Skirt: Warehouse
Shoes: Office (22nd pair saved)

....this is the first outting for these shoes and I was surprised by just how comfy they are. I was a little worried that the glitter would rub but I put on a few plasters and my feet have been fine, woohoo! My poor little brain was having a spaz day today but I guess that happens to the best of us every once in a while?

Curse The Flat Shoes......Curse All The Flat Shoes!!!!

Ooooooo Mmmmmmmm Geeeeeeeee! To start, what a gorgeous day we've had "Hello Spring, I'm glad you've sprung now please stick around!", secondly my feet are ripped to shreds! I decided to wear this little lot today....

Jumper: Topshop
Belt: Accessorize
Trousers: French Connection
Shoes: Office (20th pair saved)
Jewellery: Grandmama

.......now because the weather was so lovely I wasn't wearing tights and I always carry around flat shoes with me because after standing in my heels all day at work sometimes I really do just need to get them off to be able to walk home! However my flat shoes without tights have literally torn my feet to shreds and I'm in serious pain now. I have no idea how I'm going to stand in heels tomorrow let alone go out dancing which is the plan, hmmmmmm could be interesting!

Blue Eyed Guy and I are checking into a hotel tomorrow and then heading out to celebrate a fellow Bunnies birthday in Kensington. I'm packing tonight as I'm going to head there straight from work, I'm banking on the weather staying lovely (no jumpers and coats for me!) but I guess if the Great British weather does let me down I do only live a ten minute walk from the hotel! I've got to remember to pack my bikini too, I haven't been swimming in ages so I'm really looking forward to sitting in the jacuzzi and watching other people do the laps!

Training today was wonderful, my team and I triumphed so I am now the proud owner of a new Playboy t-shirt and some of my fellow Bunnies and I headed to my private garden for another impromptu picnic for lunch. I do have to pinch myself sometimes and remember that this is all actually work as I'm getting to do something I really enjoy everyday, how lucky am I?

Happy Thursday peeps, I hope you've had a good one?

Lots of Love

The Bunnies Are Invading!

So my laptop charger died on Sunday and I only managed to pick up a new one today! This means I have three days worth of outfits and stories for you, here goes.....

Monday I wore this little lot.....

Dress: Vintage
Cardigan: Gap
Shoes: Red or Dead (18th pair saved)
Flower: Accessorize

......for my day at work and then my date with Blue Eyed Guy in the evening. We were both knackered so I cooked dinner, pork Dijon....yum, and he helped me with my homework! Thankfully he finds the whole thing interesting and doesn't mind me muttering sums and random number combinations at him.

Tuesday I wore this....

Top & Skirt: Trashy Diva
Tights: Boots
Shoes: Topshop Boutique (19th pair saved) - these shoes actually have little cut outs each side but you can't really see this detail with black tights, I'll wear them again soon with coloured tights as I really like the effect.

......we learnt more new things again today, it amazes me how many componants go into the whole game. Especially as I have played roulette as a customer numerous times and had no idea about half of the bets/combinations available! There is so much to think about but I love the challenge and I'm still looking forward to getting into work every morning.

Today I wore this.....

Dress: Vintage (borrowed from Tatty)
Cardigan: Oasis
Shoes: Red or Dead
Earrings: Grandmama

......I couldn't believe how lovely the weather was today, it was so nice to not have to wear tights and just wander about Covent Garden at lunch. Some of my lovely fellow Bunnies joined me for an impromptu picnic in the private garden my flatmates and I have keys to, we stayed until the sun went down and only left then because it got a little chilly! I love London at this time of year and I can not wait for this summer it's going to be so exciting!

I also received my Personal Functional License today so it's official, I'm a croupier! Well once I've finished my training and have been approved to be let loose on the gaming floor that is.....

Yet again I've fallen behind with my blog reading, so I'll be catching up with as many as I can tonight and tomorrow as I have a busy weekend ahead of me involving a "weekend away" with Blue Eyed Guy in London (we booked a hotel at the other end of Oxford Street.....as you do!) and a Bunny birthday celebration! It's going to be good but rather light on the blog front for me (sorry Papa) so I'll make sure to take many pictures.

I hope you've all been having a fabulous week so far? Any exciting plans for your weekends?

Lots of Love

Ew Ick!

I do not feel well at all. This is pants timing as I was meant to be joining in with the mass pillow fight at Trafalgar Square today and then heading down to The Island to spend the rest of the weekend with Papa. Alas this has not been possible due to, what I'm hoping is, a short lived stomach bug, bluergh!

Other than this little upset I've had a lovely week. I met the fabulous Lawyer for drinks on Thursday for a catch up and general gossip. I decided to wear this......

Suit: Handmade by Moi
Brooch: Butler & Wilson
Tights: Boots
Shoes: Red or Dead
Rings: Grandmama

.....believe it or not this fabric is actually a really dark green which I love (as you probably know by know), the suit itself is my version of the Vivienne Westwoood suit worn by Carrie Bradshaw in the SATC episode "A Vogue Idea", I've also made it in the pinstripe fabric (you saw the skirt in this post) but there are a few alterations needed as I can only walk like a penguine in it at the moment! I also had my first costume/uniform fitting today which is so exciting, it's all becoming a little more real and I'm still thoroughly over excited by the whole thing!

Friday was a lovely day (I was wearing comfy shoes which does make such a difference!) .....

Jumper: Urban Outfitters
Belt: Warehouse
Skirt: Lulu & Red
Tights: Boots
Boots: Pied A Terre (17th pair saved)

.....yes these are very comfy indeed! I love Lulu & Red designs, I was wearing my brown version of this skirt on Monday but I couldn't take pictures of the back then as I had dropped my camera and it gave up on me! The back is my favourite part of the skirt; it actually comes down in a V shape and has pink ribbons that add some extra interest, I've hidden them in this outfit though as I wore a longer top.

Blue Eyed Guy invited me to join him and some of his friends at the Picadilly Institute for a few drinks after training on Friday, so the lovely JBear (a fellow Bunny) and I headed on over. I'd never heard of this place before so had no idea what to expect, it's fab! Different themed bars, performers everywhere, amazing cocktails (50% off between 6-8pm) and one of the best burgers I've eaten in a long while, I'd highly recommend it for a night out but remember to book yourself a table.

I'm spending my evening curled up in bed catching up on my blog reading which I am very behind with so at least thats the silver lining in me feeling so icky! I hope you are all up to something wonderful this Saturday night?

Lots of Love
