About Me!

So a little bit about me, Sian "Purdey" Singleton, a thirty*cough*something living in a teeny village on the Isle of Wight. Here goes.....

I'm a geeky girlie girl, I love my sci-fi and I love love LOVE my shoes! I only have about 84(ish) pairs so far but am always looking to adopt more every time I venture out into town, much to my bank managers dismay!

As for the geek side ....
.....well what can I say .... my parents are completely to blame!! They dragged me up watching Star-Trek and it snowballed from there! Now you can't tear me away from Stargate, Farscape, Star Trek (yes I'm a Trekkie), Firefly and the like! I also play an awful lot of World of Warcraft (WOW) whenever I get the chance.....nothing like hopping on the back of your dragon and ganking some unsuspecting Alliance members......I'd never do that! I'm a nice Blood Elf.....honest!

After being a self employed model, spokesperson and dancer for ten years I decided to retrain as a croupier and started working as a Bunny at the Playboy Club London which is an amazing job that I loved, although the hours were a little crazy and being able to do my 35 times tables in my head is not something my high school maths teacher would ever have believed possible of me! I adored it and I got to wear a rather fab uniform too which is always a bonus.....

......however...... when I was growing up I always wanted to be a fashion designer (as well as a Formula 1 Driver, a Marine Biologist and an Architect), I've taken a few courses which have been ... interesting and I've worn a few of my creations out in public and no ones pointed and laughed yet! After a lot of thought and planning I decided to bite the bullet and open my very own fashion and design company!

I started this blog in a bid to get me out of my safe but deeply boring "uniform" of tee's, treggings and flat boots! Given the sheer amount of clothes I own this shouldn't have been too difficult but habits are proving hard to break but this blog is doing what it was intended to and I am making more of an effort and actually enjoying it too!

In parting a few random thoughts from my brain to yours....

Life is what you make it. Regret the things you did do, not the things you wished you'd done, and never make someone else your priority if you are only their option.

You should try everything in life twice; once to see if you like it and the second time just to make sure.

Also I love Marmite toast but believe that it should only be eaten once it has been dipped in Heinz tomato ketchup......but I'm a bit weird like that!
